Invite a Speaker

Many cities have organizations intended to help educate the community about Islam. If there's a mosque or Islamic Center in your area, ask them for a recommendation.  In Minnesota the Islamic Resource Group has excellent speakers who present on a variety of topics. They accept but do not require a stipend. Or contact us.

Twelve Talking Points

Did you know Muslims believe in Jesus' miracles? Or that only 20% of Muslims are Arabic?
These twelve quick talking points may surprise you, and after twelve minutes reading them you'll probably know more about Islam than all of your friends.......put together.

What Does the Church Say About Islam?

It's true that Catholics and Muslims battled during the Crusades and elsewhere in history. It is also true that the Church has explicitly and repeatedly expressed respect for Islam and called for reconciliation with Muslims. Click here for more.

Language and Etiquette

So you'd like to reach out - but aren't sure what to say or how to say it? Language and customs matter, and we don't want to accidentally offend or miscommunicate.  Click here for guidelines that will help you and others be comfortable in conversation or at an interreligious event.
